Meet our team
Right now, it’s just a team of one
Hi! I’m Kelley, and I believe that sewing is more than just a craft—it’s a superpower.
I founded iCreate Academy to give kids the tools to turn their imagination into something they can actually hold in their hands.

My Story
How did I
get here?
With years of formal sewing classes in school and alot of experience behind the sewing machine, I’ve moved from making Irish Dance dresses for girls all over the world to realizing my true passion: teaching the next generation.
My classes focus on patience, problem-solving, and the pure joy of saying, ‘I made this myself.’ Whether your child is threading a needle for the first time or looking to create their own wardrobe, I’m here to guide them through every stitch with confidence and fun.

White flame dress and purple/pink dress made by Kelley’s Irish dance making business , The Emerald Pointe.
Your child’s safety
sewing safety
Sewing isn’t usually considered a dangerous activity but it can be. We talk about safety with the machine, iron, scissors and needles during each class. We limit the number is machines used, keep our classes small and monitor ironing practices. I will do my best to prevent accidents but sometimes they do happen so there is a risk of injury.
If you have any concerns about this, please let me know. You know the maturity level of your own child and will know if they are ready for the responsibility of using equipment that could cause injury.
personal safety
As a parent and grandparent, our childen’s safety is extremely important. I am providing my own background check certified by BCompany here (waiting until late 2026).
Please talk to me about any concerns you have about their safety or anything else.
